What's the Difference Between the Videos in the Course and YouTube?
The paid course is structured and organized in a way to build up your Swift skills from the ground up. Chris’ free videos on YouTube are just one-off concepts about different topics. The paid course is a learning path to becoming an iOS developer. Much more high quality and are updated to the latest versions of Xcode. Each module builds on the knowledge from the previous one so it’s much more cohesive and helps establish the foundation you need to build an app from scratch.
Each video course module accomplishes certain goals (i.e learn Xcode and Swift basics, programming constructs, autolayout etc) and demonstrates this by building an app from the ground up so you understand it from the start. There are worksheets and review after every module to solidify your knowledge as well.
The point of our fundamentals course is to provide the skill set to build any app. It won’t tell you how to build your specific app (if you have one in mind) but you have enough base knowledge of the tools and language to apply them. Learning so you’re able to solve your own problems which will help you become more successful in the long run. The database course covers more intermediate topics and focuses more on integration with data sources.
Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. Our courses are laid out in detail on our website as well https://codewithchris.com/beginnercourse/w
